Membership 2009

Upon sign-up you’ll receive a membership handbook and a Comida Newsletter subscription.

Comida will host weekly produce pick-ups in Napa on Tuesdays and in St. Helena on Thursdays.

You can choose what you get! Rather than getting a pre-packaged box of goods, you have the flexibility of picking your own produce each week from what is harvested.

Napa Community Supported Agriculture

In northeast Carneros just over Westwood Hills, Comida, Napa’s first CSA offering produce, herbs, and cut flowers is diggin’ in…. We’ve acquired the use of a few acres from a community of long-time residents and 2009-2010 is our start-up season. We will begin by raising vegetables, herbs, flowers and fruits organically for a maximum of 60 households, delivering to two sites weekly year-round.

As first year members, your contributions are critical. A land lease, insurance, tractor work, a hoop house, irrigation, seed…all the things that make growing and distributing food possible are paid for with your memberships. Together, we will create a local source of vital nourishment that keeps monies home while encouraging responsible land use. We want to build and preserve precious soils and, working from the living, grow.

Join hands with us.
